In padel, as in any sport, progress is a gradual process. We all start from scratch, facing mistakes and learning the basics before reaching higher levels. The key is to progress little by little, respecting the learning curve and building a solid foundation. At Keepadel , we understand this evolution and that's why we organize tournaments by level , designed so that each player can compete with others of their same skill level, enjoy themselves to the fullest, and continue improving.

The padel level system ranges from 1.0 to 7.0 , with each level reflecting specific characteristics in terms of technique, tactics, consistency, and competitive experience. Based on this scale, at Keepadel , we've created a three-level structure that simplifies participation and ensures balanced tournaments: Level C, Level B, and Level A.

Level C – Initiation (Up to 3.5)

This is the starting point. Players who are just starting out or have been playing padel for a short time are located here. It corresponds to technical levels between 1.0 and 3.5.

These are players who are still developing consistency, struggling to sustain long rallies, and learning how to position themselves correctly on the court . Unforced errors are common, both on groundstrokes and at the net, and their serve and return are still highly inaccurate. At this stage, players begin to familiarize themselves with concepts such as shot setup, lob control, and wall play. They also begin to approach the net, albeit with uncertainty. This is an essential phase where the technical and tactical foundations of the game are built.

Level B – Intermediate (From 3.5 to 5.0)

This level groups intermediate players, generally between technical levels 3.5 and 5.0. It represents the largest number of padel players and encompasses those who have already developed a solid technical foundation.

These players are beginning to use purposeful spin and can maintain medium- to high-paced exchanges. They are comfortable both defensively and offensively, and are able to execute lobs, layups, drop shots, and volleys with greater precision. Although errors still occur, control, positioning, and decision-making have improved significantly. There is also greater tactical awareness: they seek to build points, win the net, and exploit space. Matches become more strategic, and pair play takes on greater importance.

Level A – Advanced and Competition (From 5.0)

This level is reserved for advanced players, from level 5.0 onward . Competing here are players with extensive technical experience and highly developed tactics, many of whom have experience in federated tournaments or high-level leagues.

They master all the strokes of padel with power, control, and variety: deep layups, aggressive volleys, precise defensive lobs, and smashes that can bring the ball into their own court or take it out three meters. They also excel at reading the game, positioning, tactical use of the walls, and effective communication with their teammates. At this level, every point is played with intention and strategy, and the difference lies in the small details.
