Miguel Lamperti is much more than a professional player: he's a legend of world padel. Born in Argentina, he began playing padel at just 12 years old and was already competing in his first official tournaments by 16. His aggressive style of play, his powerful shot, and, above all, his unmistakable charisma have made him one of the most popular and beloved players on the professional circuit.
Throughout his career, he has overcome significant personal challenges, such as a serious car accident and the loss of his mother, but his determination led him to become Argentina's number 1 in 2006. That same year, he made the leap to Spain to compete in the Padel Pro Tour and since then has been a regular at the top of world padel, competing against the best couples on the circuit and forming unforgettable duos with figures such as Matías Díaz, Cristian Gutiérrez, and Juani Mieres.
Among his most notable sporting achievements is winning the World Cup with the Argentine national team in 2016, at the World Cup held in Portugal, where he won the decisive point alongside Cristian Gutiérrez.
In recent years, Lamperti has demonstrated his adaptability by playing alongside promising young players such as Arturo Coello , with whom he achieved memorable semi-finals in 2021, and Jon Sanz , with whom he won the Getafe Challenger title in 2022. In 2023 he teamed up with Juan Cruz Belluati, once again demonstrating his validity and experience on the court.
Currently, Miguel Lamperti competes sponsored by NOX , a brand with which he maintains a close and long-standing relationship. Its flagship racket is the NOX ML10 , a model designed for players seeking balance, control, and power, and which has been one of the best-selling and most recognized rackets in the history of NOX . Also noteworthy is the ML10 Pro Cup Coorp , considered by many to be one of the most complete rackets on the market.
